Special Handling: Plasma Special Handling: Transport whole blood at room temperature or refrigerated. Centrifuge and transfer plasma to a separate tube within 6 hours. Transport plasma refrigerated. If transport is greater than 2 days, transport plasma frozen. Urine Special Handling: Transport refrigerated. If transport is greater than 2 days, transport frozen. Aliquot 2 mL urine into a Virology PCR tube before freezing.
