PLATELET AGGREGATION

Test Code: PLTAGG
Description: NOTE: TESTING AT STANFORD HOSPITAL CLINICAL LABORATORY ONLY.

This test measures platelet response to the following agonists: ADP, epinephrine, arachidonic acid, collagen and ristocetin. Aggregometry is considered the gold standard for assessment of platelet function.
Indications: Suspected disorder of platelet function.
