PLATELET INHIBITION BY THROMBOELASTOGRAPHY PLATELET MAPPING

Test Code: PLTMAP
Description: NOTE: TESTING AT STANFORD HOSPITAL CLINICAL LABORATORY ONLY.

This test uses the thromboelastograph to assess response to antiplatelet drugs as assessed by inhibition of arachadonic acid-induced aggregation (aspirin therapy) and inhibition of ADP-induced aggregation (clopidogrel).
Indications: Aspirin or clopidogrel therapy
