Stanford Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Laboratories is committed to providing accurate and timely testing. We maintain extensive Quality Assessment and Continuous Improvement Programs consisting of a formal, multifaceted and systematic approach for measuring and enhancing the nature of patient care. In addition to satisfying accreditation or licensing requirements, programs are based upon the premise that these endeavors are a significant mechanism for growth and improvement.
Licensure and Regulations
Stanford Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Laboratories comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations including CLIA (CMS), the Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. 552a(1) and all HIPAA regulations. We are accredited with distinction by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and are also certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). All employees receive extensive HIPAA and code of conduct annual training.
