Rush: A service provided by Stanford CLIA certified and State licensed Regional Rapid Response Clinical Laboratories (RUSH Labs). These laboratories are designed to provide physicians with SAME DAY rapid results on critical tests at no additional charge.
- Rush tests are performed in our Rapid Response Labs
- M - F, 9AM – 4PM, Patients and Specimens accepted for Same Day Testing
- Results available throughout the same day based on regional schedules
- Results are faxed to your office and are available via your Stanford Lab Web Portal
- Tests not listed on Test Menu will be forwarded to the main laboratory for routine testing
Courier Service
Providing regular pre-arranged times of daily scheduled transport from our network of Patient Service Centers to our RUSH Labs for testing.

Results for tests that are ordered STAT are available within 4 hours of notification for courier pick-up or within 2 hours of receipt by the testing laboratory. The ordering physician will be called as soon as test is completed. Note: Additional charges apply.
